MaTej Mugerli is a Slovenian professional basketball player. He was born on May 13, 1988, in Maribor, Slovenia. He is 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) tall and plays as a small forward. Mugerli started his professional career in 2005 with Terme Olimia Podčetrtek. He later played for several clubs in Slovenia, including KK Šentjur, KK Rogaska, and Zlatorog Laško. In 2018, he signed with Ironi Nes Ziona of the Israeli Premier League. Mugerli has also played for the Slovenian national basketball team. He won a gold medal with the team at the 2017 European Basketball Championship.
